Located in Greymouth on the West Coast, Monteith’s Brewery is the original home of craft brewing in New Zealand and a recognised Qualmark Gold visitor experience. This is thanks to our great hospitality, a fabulous menu, prompt service, and wonderful stories – not to mention our selection of award-winning beers and ciders.
We invite you to come and enjoy something from our locally inspired menu, explore our range of craft beers and ciders with a tasting tray, enjoy our free museum, or shop all things Monteiths.
While you’re here, take a guided 45-minute brewery experience tour to learn about all the wonders of craft beer. You’ll get to pour your own beer from the tap, get some great discounts on great West Coast activities, and take home a 6 pack of your favourites – all included in the tour price. Tours take place 7 days a week at 4pm.
